High LMD GCM resolution modeling of the seasonal evolution of the martian northern permanent cap: comparison with Mars Express Omega observations

Résumé

A high resolution modelling of the northern cap (1°x 1°) has been performed in the 3-D LMD GCM to investigate the seasonal evolution of the permanent water ice cap (ice thickness, temperature...). Comparisons will be made with unprecedently resolved MEX/OMEGA observations (MArs Express).
