CO2 Ice and H2O Ice in the Seasonal Caps of Mars During the Spring Retreat Phase

Résumé

The OMEGA Vis/IR imaging spectrometer has observed the surface and atmosphere of Mars since January 2004. The diagnostic absorption bands of CO2 ice and H2O ice in this spectral range made it possible to monitor the sublimation of both components of the seasonal caps during nearly 1.5 M-years.
