Early evolution of Venus and Earth constrained by the reproduction of measured Ar, Ne isotope and K/U elemental ratios

Emmanuel Marcq

Résumé

We present a combined upper atmosphere, impact (SPH)loss/delivery model effort that can reproduce the present day observed atmospheric 36Ar/38Ar, 20Ne/22Ne isotope ratios and bulk silicate K/U elemental ratios on Earth and Venus. The reproduction of the meassured elements allow us to constrain the protoplanetary masses of both planets at the time when the disk disappeared.
