Latest developments at the Jean-Marie Mariotti Center (JMMC)
Abstract
JMMC provides a suite of softwares and services that aim at helping the users of optical interferometers from proposal preparation to final data products storage according to the FAIR rules. JMMC includes technologies designed for the Virtual Observatory that allow interoperability between most of its tools. In this presentation we will show the most recent developments by our team. This includes a in-depth revisiting of the Aspro2 flagship software in order to take properly into account the arrival of GRAVITY + at VLTI and the new SearchFTT service that allows a massive search for off-axis fringe tracking stars. Aspro2 allows to probe the VLTI observing logs through a dedicated portal in order to check past observations of a given object. The a2p2 service permits the user to directly send Observing Blocks directly to the ESO phase 2 interface. We will also advertise our data explorer OifitsExplorer and the image reconstruction tool: OImaging. Finally we will recall why the JMMC OiDB database is a natural repository for the community science products. Our SUV User Support allows any user to be accompanied throughout most the observing process. As a conclusion we will present our roadmap that the community is welcome to contribute to.
